I’m conflicted about posting on installations because clearly there’s no way for me or you to have any idea what is going on, but they’re awesome and you should know about them. The description by the artist (Chu Yun) of the one pictured above (titled Constellation) does pretty good justice:
You walk into a dark room. When you stand there you will see a great number of flashing lights. As your eyes get accustomed to the darkness, you will become aware that they all come from domestic electrical appliances. They are all either in Pause or Error mode.
