My bro the architect told me about this when I asked him for a recommendation for a program to make a mockup installation. There are two versions, the free version, and the pro. If you have a .edu email you can get the pro for a 90% discount (45 as opposed to 450).

I would buy this profanely amazing product.  Its a completely customizeable keyboard.  Each key is actually a transparent plastic housing with an lcd screen underneath (the clear plastic part does the up and down moving so the lcd stays stable).  This lets you reprogram the keyboard to do anything you want, and have that function actually be represented by an icon that is related (rather than having to remember that j gets you the healing brush tool).

Absolutely stunning video of what the daylight would look like as it passed over Mies Van der Rohe’s unbuilt “Courtyard House with Curved Elements.”  Fully computer generated beautiful daylight, amazing. via coudal

The folks who made half-life 2 embedded some reporting code that allowed them to map where people die on the different game maps. There are some other stats along with them, but i like the deathmaps best.
