Ideo has created this set of cards which explains the methods they use to understand how to design the best products for their users. Having looked at them I think many of the strategies would be useful not just for product design, but also for any sort of group thinking activity. You can buy them here.

I have these. They are pretty cool. But after looking at the once I never really used them again and probably couldn’t tell you much of what they say. They have a book called the Art of Innovation which goes over a lot of those points in greater detail.
