I know product designers don’t love people putting their designs in cases, but these ipod/iphone cases from Miniot are probably my favorite. Made from various types of wood, they’re an awesome counterpoint to the sleek plastic and metal of the product.

Oh man I hate blemishes on my pocket devices! I’ll just wrap this case around it so now I have a bigger device with a more easily scratched case. I’ll never have to look at or touch that nice unmarred enclosure again. Maybe I’ll even get buttons on top of my buttons to get a more loose, mushy button feel. Bonus! Maybe even a screen cover to make my display look dimmer and images hazy! Score! If I’m lucky it may even degrade my antenna performance! Nice! Problem solved.
This wood one is a good effort though…
